You will be met by our airport representative and transferred to the hotel by our private tourist vehicle. You have the free evening and overnight at hotel.
Drive up to Dhadingbeshi is on black topped road and beyond this place is graveled hilly postal road. The rural villages and small towns on the way can be best place to understand hilly tribes of Nepal on the way as well. We will be at Soti Khola via Aarughat and Aarkhet.
Sal trees and various streams are on this route along with ever present Budigandaki River. The trail is rough and encompasses more than two waterfalls along the way. Terraced paddy farmlands, multiethnic villages and green lush forests are usual highlights of this day’s trekking. Overnight at Machha Khola
We will do uphill and downhill walking on this day. Upon crossing Thado Khola which streams in a rough gorge we will reach Khorla Besi. On this day we will also reach the natural hot water springs. We will cross Budhigandaki River in many places before reaching the Yaru Khola. From this river point we will ascend stone paved stairs towards Jagat.
We will walk through edge of Salleri and Sirdibas. We will be observing great scenery of green lush forests along with various water mills found on the way. The Philim Village on the way is very attractive and you can notice a school built by Japanese trekkers. The village has huge settlement of Gurung people
Appreciate the perspectives of Ganesh himal our trekking moves ahead passing by the village of Rainjam and Serpu Khola. From Gho Village our journey is into the deep sectors of Tsum. For the overnight sleep we reach Chokhangparo.
Pass through the north of Philim, through woods up the tightening valley to Ekle Bhatti. The path then descends down through a vertical gorge under pine trees to a intersection point at new bridge which leads to the Larkya La. To the right (east) a well-graded, exposed, zigzag track leads up through pines and rhododendrons, to Lokpa and the narrow lower Tsum Valley. Then, we move down through stunning forest, cross streams and circle under a bluff on the river before climbing steeply on well-made but uncovered steps. Later, we go across steeply up through pines and rhododendrons, and later
drop to Gumling and the Siyar Khola that drains much of the valley. Again, we cross the wooden bridge and finally go up the steep, narrow and exposed track to Chumling. The houses are typical Tibetan with hurdle of firewood on the sloping roofs to deal with the
abundant rain and snow. They farm maize and potatoes. Overnight at Chumling
From this place onwards you should heed the instructions of your guide because of high elevation. Explore the nunnery gompa on the way. In order for us to reach Nile we have to trek past Phurbe, Pangdun and Chhule. If time permits we can request for special cultural program performed by the locals..
We can see Tibetan side as well on this day. We will trek higher to Mu Gompa and visit various cloisters. Upon reaching this place we will spend the rest of time exploring the Dhephu Doma Gompa and surrounding.
Mu Gompa is the largest religious society of the place. It is the most remote land of Tsum Valley. If you are not interested to visit Mu Gompa you can take small hiking of Pika Himal Base Camp.
We will walk back via Chhule and Phurbe on the eastern side of Shiyar River. Burgi is very beautiful town having Milarepa’s Cave. From this place you can have astounding view of Poshyop glacier, Churke Mountain and Kipu Himal.
As we trek downhill the vegetation keep on becoming green and illustrious. Enjoy this grand nature and we continue walking via Gho Village and Sarpu Khola. This is the lower Tsum area. We will finally reach Chumling after delightful exploration of lower Tsum.
We head to Lokpa after breakfast and stop near Samba waterfall for the lunch. After 6 hours of walking we will finally reach Philim. This village is on the way to Ganesh Himal Base Camp as well.
We will walk through Jagat and Tatopani on this day’s trekking. If you want then you can plunge yourself into natural hot water springs as well. This would help in getting rid of tiredness and some skin diseases. From this place onwards more hilly scent appears rather than Himalayan atmosphere.
We will cross Thado Khola and Machha Khola village. From Gurung village of Lapubeshi we descend down to Soti Khola on the banks of Budigandaki River.
We will take our private jeep from Soti Khola to Kathmandu. The journey can be captivating with so many picturesque stop on the way. Aarughat, Taaribeshi, Golabhanjyang, Dhadingbeshi and Malekhu are famous highway towns which has their own distinct significance.
