The Langtang/Helambhu trek gives you the spectacular views of the mountains-Langtang (7,245m), Ganesh Himal (7,405m), Dorje Lhakpa (6,990m) and other small mountains. This Langtang Gosaikund trek takes you to the complex topography and geology, together with the varied climatic conditions of Langtang National Park whch will be giving you a wide spectrum of vegetation types including a sub-tropical forest. Gosainkunda is one of the major pilgrims destination of Buddhist and Hindu, is a high area covered with 108 holy Lakes. Culturally the area is mixed; the home of several groups including Tamang and Sherpa community people.
While talking about the trekking, Ganesh Himal, Dorje Lhakpa Mountain, local cultures, Gosainkunda Lake and beautiful forests are the major attraction of the trek. Much of the route is through semi-tropical forests where moss covers the ground and lush fern and orchids cling to tree trunks. During the full moon in August, the sacred lake of Gosainkund is the goal of thousands of Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims.
