About Kanchenjunga Region Trekking
Literally, Kanchanjunga means “Five great treasures of the snows”, but in fact, Kanchanjunga(8,585m) has Five major peaks in the world. It is the third highest peak of the world which lies on the eastern border f Nepal. Trekking in the Kanchanjunga offers an experience to go around and witness solitude, an incredible mountain panorama, different species of birds and animals, unique culture, and more.
Taking the Domestic flight from Kathmandu to Taplejung, we begin our trekking. On the way of trekking in the Kanchanjunga, we will pass through the beautiful Limbu and Rai villages and serene forests to the wonderful South Face Base Camp at Ramche, ahead of crossing the Mirgin La (pass) which lies to the north side of Kanchenjunga and the Pang Pama Base Camp. Here, you will see an arresting towering peak ridge which displays the track to Pyramid Peak, Jongsang Peak, Tent Peak, and above all the Kanchenjunga. Moreover, after passing from here we gain astonishing views of Jannu before coming back through the Rai and Limbu villages forested way to Taplejung.
